Developed for SPRAWL, a mixed media exhibition with Resa Blatman and Courtney Jordan. In The Four Seasons, invented realities, alternative landscapes, and urban structures are displayed in various stages of evolution and decay. They investigate contemporary utopian visions of the natural, urban, and scientific, through the filter of art and technology. In Sprawl, Past, present, and future collide as a way to reveal unexpected configurations and combinations of evolutionary possibility. Diversified in source material, media, and modes of representation, the artist's independent approaches are bound by an exploration into the sprawling evolution of real and imagined spaces.
